By the Same Spirit - Week of July 21, 2019


1 Corinthians 12:8-12 King James Version (KJV)

8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

Dear Friends,
Praise God for the Holy Spirit.  This post marks the 900th entry for Tysthatbind.
I praise God for the prompting of the Holy Spirit to launch the blog which first appeared under the title Unique Inspiration.  2012 was the year that my mother passed.  In the year my mother died I saw the Lord high and lifted up and his train filled the temple.  Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty.  Three years later my sister passed and the Lord increased my faith and the blog continued.
Today, I thank and praise Him for the strength and hope He has given me through His Word.  I praise Him for the encouragement that others may have received through reading the blog.  
I wait in humble anticipation to see where the Lord leads from here.  He has brought Tysthatbind a mighty long way.  By the Same Spirit. Bless His Holy Name.
My prayer is that the Lord will shower each of you with His blessing. This we know.  There is no failure in God.

I’ll Go With You

  Isaiah 41:10   “Fear thou not; for I  am  with thee: be not dismayed; for I  am  thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” “Jesus said if you go I’ll go with you.” Butterflies in my stomach  A racing heart  I do not want to attend the meeting  I wish I could cancel the appointment  I don’t want to talk about it Over “it” I don’t think I can do this  BUT GOD He reminds me that of course, I cannot accomplish even the most mundane tasks on my own  He assures me day by day that He is with me  He builds me up He orders my steps  He speaks peace to my soul  He renews my heart  Do not be afraid  You belong to Me I’ve got you I am holding you in My mighty hands  Go!
