Thinking Out Loud

Philippians 4:8 King James Version 8  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Jesus . He is the Way. He is the Truth . He is the Life. Jesus . He is Faithful. He is Just.  Honest.    Just Jesus .   He is Holy. Pure.  Jesus.  Wonderful Counselor. Jesus.    Thinking out loud.  Lovely the situation.  Jesus . The Living Word. Gospel. Jesus . Good news report. Jesus. Thinking out loud.  Jesus . In Christ there is virtue.  Jesus. He is Worthy of all the PRAISE.  Jesus. If there be any virtue, if there be any praise, it is because of Jesus.  Thank you, Jesus. in Christ, Sis. Stephanie

For If We Believe

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 King James Version 13  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. In grief I have come face to face with myself.  There is no place to hide.  There are no escape routes.  Grief does not discriminate. When grief shows up as a result of loss, we become more visible.  Like it or not grief reveals the real "us."    Grief can shatter hope. Grief can defer dreams. Grief can bury a soul alive.  Grief.  However, grief can instill hope . Grief can give way to realized dreams.  Grief can give new birth to its bearer.  For if we believe that God is Sustainer; God is Comforter; God is the Wonderful Counselor.  Grief in the hands of a Good God can provide a road to draw closer to the Savior.   Sooner or later, we are all touched by this.  Grief.  Reel

Through A Glass Darkly

"For now, we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known."  1 Corinthians 13:12 I am sitting in my home office looking out the window.  The sun is bright today.  The snow is fluffy and white. It is a pretty picture.  This I see with my natural eyes.  By contrast, my mind and spirit consider another glass, another window.  This window is hard to see through.  It provides glimpses of what is taking place in the world today. I cannot make sense of some of what I see.   I am viewing through a glass darkly.  This glass can only be enlightened by the Spirit of God.  This glass is overcast by a pandemic.  It is overshadowed by unimaginable grief.  It is tinted by doubt and sometimes despair.  But wait, there is a glimmer.  Hope and faith in God are illuminating.  It is through His light that I can see through the glass There is a vision.  It exists as we consider all we see through the Word of God.
