Lord Have Mercy...Have Mercy Lord!

Deuteronomy 7:8-10King James Version (KJV)

8 But because the Lord loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
9 Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

Dear Friends,

The Lord was merciful time and again to the children of Israel. The same God is extending His mercy daily to us.  Mercy, unmerited favor from a gracious Heavenly Father.

Grace and mercy...we talk about them.  We teach about them.  O to walk in the grace and mercy of God and bask in the light of His love.
When life seems too hard, lift your hands, your heart your faith to the Most High God.  

The plea is simple:

  • Lord have mercy. Have mercy Lord.

I’ll Go With You

  Isaiah 41:10   “Fear thou not; for I  am  with thee: be not dismayed; for I  am  thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” “Jesus said if you go I’ll go with you.” Butterflies in my stomach  A racing heart  I do not want to attend the meeting  I wish I could cancel the appointment  I don’t want to talk about it Over “it” I don’t think I can do this  BUT GOD He reminds me that of course, I cannot accomplish even the most mundane tasks on my own  He assures me day by day that He is with me  He builds me up He orders my steps  He speaks peace to my soul  He renews my heart  Do not be afraid  You belong to Me I’ve got you I am holding you in My mighty hands  Go!
