The Faith of my Grandmother

"When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother..."
    - II Timothy 1:5 cf

Dear Friends,

Today would have been my grandmother's birthday.  Grama. She was my best friend. To be in her presence was joy for me.  When I was sick and my parents often had to take me to emergency as a little girl, I would say if I could just see Grama and lay my head on her shoulder I would feel better.

My grandmother had strong faith and she believed unwaveringly in the power of prayer. "Prayer changes things. It don't get too big or too small that I don't go to God about it."

The lessons I learned from my grandmother live with me today.  Her steadfast faith inspired me.  God bless you Grama. Memories of you are blessed.

in Christ,
Sis. Stephanie
