O is for Overcome...We Shall Overcome

Romans 12:21King James Version (KJV)

21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Dear Friends,
How do we overcome evil with good?
  • A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. -Proverbs 15:21
  • Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. - Romans 12:20
  • Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

  •  Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
  • Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.  - Matthew 5:10-12
We shall overcome by the grace of God.

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords.
