My Story, My Song - Week of November 25, 2018

Revelation 15:3 King James Version (KJV)

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

Dear Friends,

"God gave me a song that they angels cannot sing. I've been washed in the blood of the crucified one. I've been redeemed...The Lord has been so good to me.  He's opened doors I cannot see.  Sometimes when I am feeling low, no one to care, no place to go.  My Father is rich in houses and lands.  He holdeth the wealth of the world in His hands."

The Lord has given each of us a song. Through Jesus Christ it is a song of hope, love, faith and deliverance.  The chords are rich with the grace and mercy of God. For those who know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, Salvation is the theme.

This is true whether the title of the song is This Little Light, Amazing Grace, Jesus You're the Center of My Joy, This Ain't No Ordinary Worship, Let the Church Say Amen, Take Me to the King and countless others.

Angels cannot sing the song of redemption.  That is a privilege for those purchased by the blood of the Lamb.  Yet we like the celestial beings will one day join that Heavenly Chorus with voices that ring out Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God Almighty!
For now rest in this song of encouragement:
Blessed assurance Jesus is mine.  O what a foretaste of glory divine. Heir of salvation. Purchased by God. Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.  THIS IS MY STORY.  THIS IS MY SONG PRAISING MY SAVIOR ALL THE DAY LONG.
God bless!
in Christ,
Sis. Stephanie

Help…My Help

Psalms 46:1   “God  is our  refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Help.  God is my Help. Always present…in trouble and in triumph.  Help. God is my Help.  I lift up my eyes knowing my help comes from the Lord.  All my help.  Every need supplied. He is My Support. He is The Solution. My Benefactor. Ever providing. Always nourishing. Constantly replenishing. Help. God is My Help. God bless. In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. Matchless in power and might. He is the Faithful and True. He holds the balance in His Hands. God weighs the intent of the heart. True Hones...

The Journey Here

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. - Psalms 23:4 The journey here...that is really something to think about.  Where we are in life as compared to where we had hoped to be.  Paths chosen while other were forgotten or neglected.  Decisions.  Times of indecisiveness. There were times we crawled. Too weary to walk.  We ran. We were too impatient to wait.   The journey.  Here.  That is really something to think about. For me the most difficult and sometimes debilitating aspect of the journey, has been walking through the valley of the shadow of death.  Tempted to fear due to memories of time I could have spent, conversations I should have had, hugs I wish I had given.  This type of fearful fretting is not of God.  I have learned; I am learning that if I truly believe, He is with me.  If I surely stand on His promi...
