Trouble in My Way - Week of April 28, 2019


Isaiah 43:1-3a

43 But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
3 For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel...

Dear Friends,

The Internet was down.  There were things I needed to research.  Work related tasks to be completed.  One moment it was working and then the trouble came. Calls were made and troubleshooting was done over the phone.  Appointments were scheduled for repair.  However, no one came.  Trouble in my way.  

Why cry about the Internet.  No need to complain about an interruption in schedule.  Frustrating.  Trouble.  

Yet, as the day went on I could not help but praise the Lord.  Why?   I do not need the Internet to survive. However, I do need a connection. The Lord is my God, the Holy One of Israel.  He is The Power Source. Jesus. My Connection. No break down.  Speed always just right.  Always on time.  

Trouble in my way?  Yes, I have to cry sometimes.  BUT, I will not worry.  For this I know.  Jesus will fix it after while.

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER
