I Know the Lord Will Make a Way!

"The  Lord  will  perfect   that   which     concerneth me: thy mercy, O  Lord , endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands." - Psalm 138:8 Dear Friends, One of the Mothers of the church singing a powerful testimony! The Lord will make a way.  Yes! He will. God bless you! in Christ, Sis. Stephanie

There Is a Season...

3  To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2  A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3  A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4  A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5  A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6  A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7  A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8  A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.       - Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 Dear Friends,  To every thing there is a season.  May you seek the will of God for this season in your life. God bless! in Christ, Sis. Stephanie

A Shelter From the Storm

"Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit."        - Psalm 51:12 Dear Friends, If you are feeling a little out of sorts or a little down, let our verse today serve to remind you of the God who is Restoration.  Pray for restored joy.  God will respond and hold you in the palm of His Almighty hands. He is a shelter from the storm. "For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.   I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah." - Psalm 61:3-4 in Christ, Sis. Stephanie

"He Will Hear Our Humble Cry and Will Answer By and By"

Psalm 34:11-19  (KJV) Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord . 12  What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? 13  Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. 14  Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. 15  The eyes of the  Lord  are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. 16  The face of the  Lord  is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. 17  The righteous cry, and the  Lord  heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. 18  The  Lord  is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. 19  Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the  Lord  delivereth him out of them all. Dear Friends, What's taking so long?  We sometimes grow impatient ...

Still Leading Us Out

"Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the  Lord , and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:   And I will take you to me for a people , and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the  Lord  your God , which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.   And I will bring you in unto the land , concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage : I am the  Lord ."         - Exodus 6:6-9 Dear Friends, In Exodus the sixth chapter God is reminding Israel of His promise to deliver them, redeem them and take care of them.  God provided leadership for the children of Israel to bring them out of captivity.   God is changeless.  He still leads His children out of bondage...

I Love You. I Care. I'm Praying for You.

" Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O  Lord , my strength, and my redeemer."            - Psalm 19:14 Dear Friends, Some times the best words are spoken in silence.  Family or friends can come to us with situations that leave us at a loss for words. We can find ourselves searching for the appropriate sentiment or thought, desperate not to say the wrong thing. In silence, we can offer words of prayer.  Our mouths don't have to move.  We do not have to give an audible response to everyone who comes to talk.  We can silently pray.  "Mercy, Lord."  "Lord help!"  "Thank you Lord."  "Jesus."   These silent prayers can be the meditation of the heart.  This meditation must often and should often proceed the words.  When prayer comes first it is more likely that the words uttered after will be acceptable.   "I love you  ...
