Still Leading Us Out

"Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:
And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the Lord."

        - Exodus 6:6-9

Dear Friends,

In Exodus the sixth chapter God is reminding Israel of His promise to deliver them, redeem them and take care of them.  God provided leadership for the children of Israel to bring them out of captivity.

God is changeless.  He still leads His children out of bondage.  He provided the Redeemer in the Person of Jesus Christ.  In Christ Jesus we have the Perfect Leader.

One of the songs of the church instructs us:

"Let Jesus lead you.  Let Jesus lead you.  Let Jesus lead you, all the way.  All the way from earth to heaven, let Jesus lead you all the way."

In the midst of turmoil and uncertainty among nations there remains a hope for the people of God.  Before governments were set up or earthly kingdoms established, there was, is and always shall be, the Righteous Ruler, Father God.

The book of Exodus details a mass departure of a people enslaved to a place of freedom.   God is still calling for those who would depart from sin, take Him at His word and lean on His promises for rescue, provision and power.

Cast your cares on Jesus.  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever.

Exodus 6:6-8 reminds us of great promise.  Hear the Word of the Lord:

  • I am the Lord
  • I will bring you out
  • I will rid you out of their bondage
  • I will redeem you
  • I will take you to me for a people
  • I will be to you a God
  • I am the Lord your God
  • I will bring you in unto the land
  • I will give it you for an heritage
  • I am the Lord
In Christ,

Sis. Stephanie

Help…My Help

Psalms 46:1   “God  is our  refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Help.  God is my Help. Always present…in trouble and in triumph.  Help. God is my Help.  I lift up my eyes knowing my help comes from the Lord.  All my help.  Every need supplied. He is My Support. He is The Solution. My Benefactor. Ever providing. Always nourishing. Constantly replenishing. Help. God is My Help. God bless. In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. Matchless in power and might. He is the Faithful and True. He holds the balance in His Hands. God weighs the intent of the heart. True Hones...

The Journey Here

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. - Psalms 23:4 The journey here...that is really something to think about.  Where we are in life as compared to where we had hoped to be.  Paths chosen while other were forgotten or neglected.  Decisions.  Times of indecisiveness. There were times we crawled. Too weary to walk.  We ran. We were too impatient to wait.   The journey.  Here.  That is really something to think about. For me the most difficult and sometimes debilitating aspect of the journey, has been walking through the valley of the shadow of death.  Tempted to fear due to memories of time I could have spent, conversations I should have had, hugs I wish I had given.  This type of fearful fretting is not of God.  I have learned; I am learning that if I truly believe, He is with me.  If I surely stand on His promi...
