Don't Move

February 13, 2013

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."
    - I Corinthians 15:58

Dear Friend,

Sometimes when we have to stand in long lines, we get tired of waiting and in frustration we get out of line.  Just when we move,it seems the line starts moving faster or another cashier opens a register and proclaims,"next in line!"  If we had kept our place that "next in line!" would have been us.  Remember the saying, "Don't make a move too soon."

There are other more important circumstances in life than a place in line at a bank or grocery store where we also tend to give up too easily.  We can get discouraged at times as we wait for our prayers to be answered.  It seems like deliverance is taking too long!  Where is the healing?  The job? The solution? Whatever the need, we sometimes just get impatient.  We seek peace and others want war.  We offer Christ and experience rejection.  Is there a Word from the Lord?  The answer is YES!  Don't move!  Be stedfast...that is don't waver.  Be unmoveable...don't allow the enemy to push you around stay grounded in the Word.  Always abounding in the work of the Lord...it is always right to do right.  Know...you have to understand deep in your heart that IT IS WORTH IT!  Even on days when it seems like you are losing ground know that GOD'S GOT YOU!

Don't move!

God bless!
Sis. Stephanie

Help…My Help

Psalms 46:1   “God  is our  refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Help.  God is my Help. Always present…in trouble and in triumph.  Help. God is my Help.  I lift up my eyes knowing my help comes from the Lord.  All my help.  Every need supplied. He is My Support. He is The Solution. My Benefactor. Ever providing. Always nourishing. Constantly replenishing. Help. God is My Help. God bless. In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. Matchless in power and might. He is the Faithful and True. He holds the balance in His Hands. God weighs the intent of the heart. True Hones...

The Journey Here

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. - Psalms 23:4 The journey here...that is really something to think about.  Where we are in life as compared to where we had hoped to be.  Paths chosen while other were forgotten or neglected.  Decisions.  Times of indecisiveness. There were times we crawled. Too weary to walk.  We ran. We were too impatient to wait.   The journey.  Here.  That is really something to think about. For me the most difficult and sometimes debilitating aspect of the journey, has been walking through the valley of the shadow of death.  Tempted to fear due to memories of time I could have spent, conversations I should have had, hugs I wish I had given.  This type of fearful fretting is not of God.  I have learned; I am learning that if I truly believe, He is with me.  If I surely stand on His promi...
