"  A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver."    - Proverbs 25:11 Dear Friends, What a visual when we close our eyes and imagine apples of gold in pictures of silvers. Silver and gold, there is something majestic about the combination. What do we say to this comparing and contrasting of right words to form this magnificent visual in Proverbs 25:11?   Words, right words, words spoken in season have lasting impact.  Choose your words carefully. One of my favorite Bible verses is found in the book of James:  "Swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath..."      (James 1:19) Caution needs to be exercised before opening our mouths.  Likewise, discretion needs to be exercised in determining what words we receive in our spirit.
