"Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."
- I Peter 5:5-7
Dear Friends,
Many people say experience is the best teacher. Yet, the truth is, the Holy Spirit is the Master Teacher.
"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."
- St. John 14:26
The Holy Spirit often works through others to remind us of the goodness of God. He uses preachers and teachers to deliver the Word. He sends Christian friends and brothers and sisters in Christ to encourage us in our walk with the Lord. He guides us in the Word of the Lord opening our eyes to the truth of scripture.
Give honor to whom honor is due. Submit to the wisdom of those who have gone before us. Listening and heeding testimonies of the miracles of God's mercy and grace in the lives of others is one way of acknowledging the Holy Spirit's "presence in this present" age.
The Lord who parted the Red Sea is still making a way when we find ourselves in wilderness situations
- We acknowledge Your Presence Lord
The Lord who delivered the Hebrew boys out of the fiery furnace is still delivering today
- We acknowledge Your Presence Lord
The Lord who led the children of Israel out of
bondage is leading and guiding today
- We acknowledge Your Presence Lord
God bless!
in Christ,
Sis. Stephanie
