"Hear ye, and give ear; be not proud: for the Lord hath spoken.
Give glory to the Lord your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.
But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the Lord's flock is carried away captive."
- Jeremiah 3:15-17
Dear Friends,
One of the last things my grandmother told me before she passed away was: "Don't wait till the trouble comes to pray. You pray all the time." I remember she was pointing her finger at me as she said it. On her dying bed my grandmother admonished me about praying. I have not always heeded this advice.
When we we are in trouble it is easy to cry out for Mercy Lord, Mercy. The Bible tells us however, to pray without ceasing.
Pray in season and out of season...pray in good times and bad.
Don't wait till the trouble comes.
Pray.
in Christ,
Sis. Stephanie
