  Romans 8:18   “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time  are  not worthy  to be compared  with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” God doesn’t do cliches. His Word is true.  Always.  His promises are certain.  Always.  Well now… It may seem like trouble will always last  Truth is, it won’t. May appear like things will never change. Things are not always what they seem.  Change is coming. One day. Sooner or later… The way will be made plain. The path will become clear. The struggles will be behind us. The clouds will lift.   Proverbs 4:25 “Let thine eyes look right on and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.” Yesterday I decided to move my treadmill across the room This was not an easy task since it is very heavy. So, inch by inch, nudge by nudge,  the journey was made. Across the room. Talk about a difference The room looks more spacious. It seems less cluttered. A totally different perspective. The real joy came this morning. The treadmill is now closer to the window. I opened the window and enjoyed a  beautiful breeze. On the wall directly in front of me were pictures of loved ones. I called the name of each one in prayer. I did not anticipate such intricate blessings when I moved the treadmill Across the room. Details. God is concerned about all that concerns us. Whether we are moving or standing still He is always there. Thirty minutes on the treadmill today. What a walk it was.   Isaiah 45:2   “I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:” Rough patches Wrinkles Drip dropping Annoyances Frustration  We all experience the rough patches  The only comfort I have  The only comfort I know is God He goes before me to straighten things out He makes a way out, around or through  He smooths the wrinkles He calms the frustrations  I may second guess others, I may doubt myself at times Yet I will not second guess God  I will not doubt Him In every rough patch In my lowest valley  At the height of the mountain There is God I am so thankful  So blessed  I know for certain that nothing I face is greater than  God.   Philippians 3:20   “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:” Candid conversations with God. Riding in the car this morning thanking God for another day. Praising Him for the magnificent fall display of colors. Praying for the lady I saw walking on the sidewalk that her day would be blessed.   Psalms 130:1   “(A Song of degrees.) Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.” ( Repost) There are certain life chapters or experiences that lead us to crying unto the Lord out of the depths of our souls.  The depths of your soul are different from the depths of mine.  Although, similar or even the same type of experience may lead us there, the depths of one's soul is a private place.
