Raising My Hand

 

Psalms 63:4

 

“Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.”

There are times when I just lift my hand straight up in the air

Sometimes it is my right hand 

Sometimes it is the left  

It can appear random

But it is not

This lifting up of my hand is an act that I have performed for years 

Every now and then I will slightly wave or flex my fingers 

God knows the meaning of this

I am reaching up

I am stretching out

I am exercising my faith

With the raising of my hand one at a time 

I am lifting my life to the Lord above

I know you are with me God

I touch Your heart 

You abide in mine 

I surrender my all

Thank you for seeing me for speaking to my soul 

When I raise my hand

  Psalms 46:1   “God  is our  refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Help.  God is my Help. Always present…in trouble and in triumph.  Help. God is my Help.  I lift up my eyes knowing my help comes from the Lord.  All my help.  Every need supplied. He is My Support. He is The Solution. My Benefactor. Ever providing. Always nourishing. THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

  Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. Matchless in power and might. He is the Faithful and True. He holds the balance in His Hands. God weighs the intent of the heart. True Hones...
