Rough Patches

 

Isaiah 45:2

 

“I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:”

Rough patches

Wrinkles

Drip dropping

Annoyances

Frustration 

We all experience the rough patches 

The only comfort I have 

The only comfort I know is

God

He goes before me to straighten things out

He makes a way out, around or through 

He smooths the wrinkles

He calms the frustrations 

I may second guess others, I may doubt myself at times

Yet I will not second guess God 

I will not doubt Him

In every rough patch

In my lowest valley 

At the height of the mountain

There is God

I am so thankful 

So blessed 

I know for certain that nothing I face is greater than 

God.

  Psalms 46:1   “God  is our  refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Help.  God is my Help. Always present…in trouble and in triumph.  Help. THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

  Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. Matchless in power and might. He is the Faithful and True. He holds the balance in His Hands. God weighs the intent of the heart. True Hones...
