Dear Friends, My mother would have been eighty years old today.  When I review the snapshots of Ma in my mind, she is always the beautiful lady that people often told me looked more like my sister than my mother.  She fulfilled the role of mother faithfully, lovingly and with grace.  My mother's presence was comforting.  Comforting because she was always a source of encouragement even in times of discipline.  There is not one memory I have of any interaction with my mother where I questioned whether she loved me.
