Our Father

"After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name."
    - St. Matthew 6:9

Dear Friends,

Every day is Father's Day. I think of my father and the many lessons he taught me growing up. One of the greatest lessons he taught me was, "Be a lady."

My father took me to get my first library card. He taught me to dance.  He taught me how to debate. He encouraged my dreams. I knew my father loved me and supported me.  He still does, no matter what.

I know that every struggle my father overcame was by God's grace. I know that his marriage to my mother lasted 56 years by the grace of God.

As we ready ourselves to celebrate Father's Day,  I thank Our Heavenly Father for blessing me with my earthly father.

"My father prayed for me had me on his mind, took the time and prayed for me.  I'm so glad he prayed. I'm so glad he prayed. I'm so glad he prayed for me."

Happy Father's Day Daddy!

in Christ,

Sis. Stephanie

Adds Up…

2 Peter 1:5   “And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;” One of my hobbies is making yarn wreaths.  The wreath frame symbolizing an unbroken circle and an eternal hope. As I tie each double strand of yarn I consider the blessings  of the “tysthatbind”  Adds up… Love+ Faith+ Hope+ Mercy+ Grace+ Peace= Diligently,  Continually  Seeking  to  Add to my faith virtue,  And to virtue knowledge Adds up… God bless.♥️  In Christ, Sis. Help…My Help

Psalms 46:1   “God  is our  refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Help.  God is my Help. Always present…in trouble and in triumph.  Help. God is my Help.  I lift up my eyes knowing my help comes from the Lord.  All my help.  Every need supplied. He is My Support. He is The Solution. My Benefactor. Ever providing. Always nourishing. Constantly replenishing. Help. God is My Help. God bless. In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. Matchless in power and might. He is the Faithful and True. He holds the balance in His Hands. God weighs the intent of the heart. True Hones...
