Jesus Can Fix It

Psalm 139:23-24 King James Version (KJV) 23  Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: 24  And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Dear Friends, Looking to make a change?  Are there things in your life weighing you down, somethings that you need to let go of?  Old wounds?   God knows and He is able to deliver.  He can and will fix whatever ails us.  "To the utmost Jesus saves." in Christ, Sis. I Will Say It! I Believe It!

"I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in him will I trust." Dear Friends, I will say of the Lord He is MY FORTRESS HE IS MY GOD in Him I will trust. I WILL trust  IN HIM My GOD  He is My Fortress. I will SAY IT. I BELIEVE IT. I SAY THAT GOD MY FORTRESS IS MY TRUST I WILL SAY SO AT ALL TIMES I WILL SAY IT. I BELIEVE IT. Unashamed! The Lord He God! I KNOW He is GOD. in Christ, Sis. Stephanie

A Little Child Shall...

Isaiah 11:6 King James Version (KJV) 6  The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. Dear Friends, "And a little child shall lead them..."  My youngest daughter turned 21 today.  No longer a little child, I can still reflect back to the day she was born and the many memories of being the mother of three girls. Mothers can attest that each child comes with their own unique gifts and while the basic need for love, shelter and security is universal there is also the need to find one's purpose in God's plan. The Lord will reveal His purpose for our children as for us. I thank God once again for the privilege of being a mother for this has been my life's highest calling. And the children as "little ones" each led me to a closer relationship with Christ.   Faith, hope, love these three but the greatest of

When I Call on the Name of Jesus

Jeremiah 33:2-3 King James Version (KJV) 2  Thus saith the  Lord  the maker thereof, the  Lord  that formed it, to establish it; the  Lord  is his name; 3  Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Dear Friends, Bishop Paul Morton sings a powerful song "Something Happens."  "Jesus something special, supernatural, about Your Name." Glory to God.  When we call upon the name of Jesus something special happens.  At the mention of the Mighty Name of Jesus movement takes place.  The movement matches the need.  This is the miracle of Jesus.  Power is Jesus.  The calling of His name releases the power.  Jesus is peace.  Calling His Name releases the peace. Jesus is Joy.  Call Him and feel the rivers of joy flowing deep on the inside. Jesus is.  Call Him. Something will happen. Mighty things, great and mighty things happen at the mention of His name.  Jesus.  Lord God, thank you for Jesus.

As Different As Night and Day

Genesis 1:14-19 King James Version (KJV) 14  And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15  And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. 16  And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 17  And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, 18  And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. 19 A nd the evening and the morning were the fourth day. Dear Friends, Two great lights, the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night. God has set every thing in order as it has pleased Him There is a difference between night and day.  Both serve a purpose and in putting them in place

Passing Through

Revelation 21:1-3 King James Version (KJV) 21  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. Dear Friends, We did not come here to stay.  We are passing through.  For those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior we know that He has prepared a place for us.   Heaven is our home.  While we are here let us purpose each day to be intentional in holding high our light for Christ.   It is not always the words we speak to others but the way we say the words that gets their attention,   Sometimes it is the observation of our interaction with the

Revelation 21:10-13 King James Version (KJV) 10  And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11  Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; 12  And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13  On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. Dear Friends, God bless you. in Christ, Sis. Stephanie

Joy Unspeakable and Full of Glory

Galatians 5:22-23 King James Version (KJV) 22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Dear Friends, A sister in Christ at my church passed early this morning.  When I arrived at church and heard the news, my mind went immediately to last Sunday, March 12 when I last saw her and we shook hands. Tracey had a beautiful smile.  When she shook my hand last Sunday, there it was as always, her beautiful smile. I remember that when she shook my hand she squeezed it.  I was particularly uplifted to see her, the look on her face, "joy, unspeakable and full of glory."     - I Peter 1:8 When you can look at a brother or sister in Christ and see the fruit of the spirit in their countenance it is heart warming.  While my heart is heavy to know that I will not see this sweet soul again on earth, my spirit rejoices that through her faith in Christ she now kno

We Need You Jesus

Psalm 51:9-11 King James Version (KJV) 9  Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. 10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11  Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Dear Friends, May this spirit filled song by Kirk Franklin "My World Needs You" bless your soul. So much is going on in our country, our communities, our families.  We need but seek the face of Jesus and His presence in our daily lives to find the help and the courage that we need. "Come Holy Spirit we need you now."  Amen. God bless! in Christ, Sis. Stephanie

His Word Will Stand

Romans 15:4 King James Version (KJV) 4  For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Dear Friends, The Word of God was written with us in mind. From Genesis to Revelation, we find instruction, hope, reproof, testimonies, assurance, faith and salvation. In times of peace and tribulation we have the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God to rely upon. Do not lose hope.  His Word shall stand. in Christ, Sis. Stephanie

Father, It's Me In the Valley

Psalm 42:11 King James Version (KJV) 11  Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. Dear Friends, What does it mean for the soul to be cast down and disquieted?  It can be a sad day or a season of intense grief.  It can be years of depression or seasons of it.  It can be a mind that is troubled and ill and wonders if anyone cares or understands. The disquieted soul or troubled mind can be a place of extreme isolation.  For those who have been beset with constant or frequent visits to such a place the Why that rings out comes from a place of deep anguish.  "Father do you see me in this valley." The Holy Spirit reveals to the Psalmist not to lose hope.  It is the Spirit that brings comfort in the valley. Praise is necessary in the valley.   To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of jo

Jesus Is My Life...My Joy...My All

Mark 12:28-30 King James Version (KJV) 28  And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? 29  And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30  And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. Dear Friends, To love the Lord with all our heart, mind soul and strength is the first commandment.  To do so is to live in recognition of what the songwriter has penned: "Jesus is all the world to me, my life my joy, my all." Enjoy the beautiful voices of the Kadarman sisters. God bless! in Christ, Sis. Stephanie Jesus is All the World to Me Jesus is all the world to me, my life, my joy, my all; He is my strength from day to day, without Him I would fall. When I am sad

Faith Looks Up

Psalm 24:9-10 King James Version (KJV) 9  Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 10  Who is this King of glory? The  Lord  of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah. Dear Friends, Faith looks up. It is said that when storms are raging the eagle flies above the storm clouds where the sun still shines. Faith can symbolize wings for the Christian. On the wings of faith we can ride above the storm. Whatever the day brings look up in faith knowing that the King of glory, The Lord of Hosts is your help. and your King. May you be encouraged today. in Christ, Sis. Stephanie My Faith Looks Up To Thee  - Ray Palmer  (1875 or earlier - under Public Domain) My faith looks up to thee, thou Lamb of Calvary, Savior divine! Now hear me while I pray, take all my guilt away, O let me from this day be wholly thine! May thy rich grace impart strength to my fainting heart, my zeal inspire! A

Yet Alive

Genesis 45:24-28 King James Version (KJV) 24  So he sent his brethren away, and they departed: and he said unto them, See that ye fall not out by the way. 25  And they went up out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan unto Jacob their father, 26  And told him, saying, Joseph is yet alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt. And Jacob's heart fainted, for he believed them not. 27  And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said unto them: and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived: 28  And Israel said, It is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die. Dear Friends, Jealousy caused Joseph's brother's to forsake him  resulting in his being sold into slavery. Their father mourned for his son who he thought to be dead. But God had a plan for Joseph's life. "What man meant for evil God meant for good." Joseph's jou
