Grace Doesn't Throw Stones

Romans 3:19-26King James Version (KJV)

19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Dear Friends,

There are many Christians young and old who are burdened by the weight of stones cast upon them not by the world but by other believers.
Sometimes the words: "I remember when he used to."  "Can you believe that so and so did..."  "I know he/she was going to end up." Words thrown like stones build walls like boulders often hindering the fellowship of believers.  This is most concerning when this happens to new believers or young Christians.

The Bible teaches us that "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."  This verse should be a reminder that the Lord paid the price for us. "We are justified freely by His grace."  Grace doesn't throw stones.  Why?
It is because grace puts us in a place of righteousness that we did not earn.  It has been given to us "through the redemption that is Christ Jesus."

Grace doesn't throw stones.  Grace reaches out. Grace lends a hand.  Grace shows love. Grace wears forgiveness. Grace does not pass judgment.  Grace embraces.  Grace does not cast out.
Grace remembers the amazing character it has the responsibility to display.  The Christian wears grace with humility and as a constant example that in all things and at all time God's grace is sufficient.
Someone in your life needs to know, to be reminded about the amazing grace of God.

"Twas grace that taught my heart to fear and grace my fears relieved. How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed."

Amazing! Grace doesn't throw stones.

in Christ,

Sis. Stephanie

THANKFULLY

  Philippians 1:3   “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,” Wherever you are today, I thank God for you. Family, friends and all. I thank God. I praise God for allowing our lives to intersect in some way. May this day and every day be filled with gratitude. I pray that grace and peace abound.  Let mercy and grace be multiplied. Thankfully, the Lord God has brought us, from a mighty long way. God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

SHIFT KEY

  1 Corinthians 13:12 “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”  It all depends on how you look at it. What’s your focus? Is the picture clear or blurry? Do you need to crop the photo for a better view? A little shift in focus can be key.  Shifting the way you look at things can make a big difference.  I am looking at the shift key on my keyboard. I have options. Lower case or uppercase. Numerical or special characters. Failure to shift correctly can cause denied access because my password is not recognized. Shift is key. Some things can be better understood if we take the time to change our focus.  Zoom in on what really matters.  Stop looking at things that appear  insurmountable. Instead shift your focus. Look at God. The view is breathtaking when I look up. I see Jesus. He sees me. I am shifting my focus. Eyes lifted up. I see where my help comes from. My help comes from the Lord. The Lord who

Through the Eyes of Faith ...By Grace

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of work, lest anyone should boast.   - Ephesians 2:8-9  “Amazing grace shall always be my song of praise for it was grace that bought my liberty. I don’t know why He chose to love me so. He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs.”  So much has happened since the last time I “saw” you. The changing circumstances of the journey have been stabilized by an Unchanging God.   Journey on my sisters and brothers. Bask in the knowledge that unfailing mercy and sufficient grace surround you.   Grace makes new beginnings possible. We can begin again. The time is now. The choice? It’s yours. Yours for the asking.  Through the eyes of faith…we see Jesus.  God bless! In Christ,  Sis. Stephanie
