Dear Friends,  Look up!  Look to the Lord Who dwells on high! Sometimes the mountains we face appear to be too high, insurmountable.  The Psalmist does not say "get to climbing!"  The Word says "look up."   Look to the Lord. He is able to take us up high mountains. He is able to remove mountains. He can  enable us to climb the mountains.Whatever is needed to meet the challenge, to accomplish His will, the Lord will provide. Look up!  Look to the Lord Who dwells on high! Dear Friends, Why do I praise God's Word?  It is because His Word is Faithful. God's Word is Worthy.  God's Word is Life. It is in His Word that I find solace, safety and peace and the strength to go on. The same Word of God has always been. St. John 1:1 tells us that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.  Jesus, the Word of God. I will praise His Word. I have put my trust in Jesus, in the Word. Dear Friends, Death is only a shadow for those who know the Lord as their Shepherd. He is my Shepherd.  In the valley of the shadow the Lord has been with me.  The sufficiency of His grace has kept me when loved ones who knew the Lord as Shepherd have gone to be with Him.  The Shepherd sustains.  The Shepherd has healing in His wings.  It is the staff and the rod of the Shepherd, His Word that gives comfort. "He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters." - Psalm 23:2 Dear Friends. What a blessing it is to know that as a child of the King we are not left to wander on our own.  We have a Leader.  We have a Guide. We have a Captain. We have a Gate Keeper.  Jesus is always looking out for us.  The Holy Spirit makes intercession for us.   When we are weary and it seems as though life is just to much to bear Our Shepherd the Lord makes us to lie down in green pastures. The burdens are too heavy just as the heaviness of wool on a sheep.  He calms the water and leads us beside raging floods that he has stilled.  Praise God.  The Lord My Shepherd leads me.
