Kind...Tenderhearted...Forgiving



Ephesians 4:32King James Version (KJV)

32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Dear Friends,

It is not always easy to be kind in the face of rudeness or unkindness.  It is not easy. Yet, it is possible. Through Christ we can be kind.  However, it is a choice.  The slogan "What Would Jesus Do?' WWJD? that was so popular several years back and appeared on bumper stickers, t-shirts, mugs and the like gave us cause to give pause.  That question should still fuel us. The power lies in the fact that we know the answer.

Jesus forgave.  Therefore, we should forgive.  Jesus was tenderhearted.  Therefore... Jesus was kind.  Therefore...

I’ll Go With You

  Isaiah 41:10   “Fear thou not; for I  am  with thee: be not dismayed; for I  am  thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” “Jesus said if you go I’ll go with you.” Butterflies in my stomach  A racing heart  I do not want to attend the meeting  I wish I could cancel the appointment  I don’t want to talk about it Over “it” I don’t think I can do this  BUT GOD He reminds me that of course, I cannot accomplish even the most mundane tasks on my own  He assures me day by day that He is with me  He builds me up He orders my steps  He speaks peace to my soul  He renews my heart  Do not be afraid  You belong to Me I’ve got you I am holding you in My mighty hands  Go!
