Let Your Faith Should Stand in the Power of God

1 Corinthians 2:1-5 King James Version (KJV) 2  And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 2  For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3  And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4  And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5  That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Dear Friends, Let your faith stand in the power of God! Psalm 62:10-12 King James Version (KJV) 10  Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them. 11  God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God. 12  Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work. Let your faith stand in

"A Joy in My Heart"

Psalm 20:5-7 King James Version (KJV) 5  We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the  Lord  fulfil all thy petitions. 6  Now know I that the  Lord  saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. 7  Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the  Lord  our God. Dear Friends, A Joy In My Heart by Katharine Purvis There's a joy in my heart that shall ever abide 'Tis a joy to the world that unknown; For in undying love Jesus came seeking me, And he brought me again to His own. I am walking with Jesus in fellowship sweet, And His glory sweeps over my soul; All my burdens and sorrows I lay at His feet, And my spirit is ev'ry whit whole. Sin can harm me no more, for my Saviour and Guide Is so near me I never can stray; In His care and protection I safely abide, And His love shelters me every day. Chorus O the sw

God Can Calm the Storm

Job 28:24-28 King James Version (KJV) 24  For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven; 25  To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure. 26  When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder: 27  Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out. 28  And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the  Lord , that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding. Dear Friends, Mark 4:37-39 King James Version (KJV) 37  And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. 38  And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? 39  And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. The Lord is still speaking peace and bringing calm in the midst o

The Spirit, He Makes the Difference...

1 Corinthians 2:12-13 King James Version (KJV) 12  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. Dear Friends, Now We have Received Not the Spirit of the world But the spirit which is of God So that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God Remember We speak not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth But which the Holy Ghost teacheth comparing spiritual things with spiritual John 3:5-6 King James Version (KJV) 5  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spiri

Bless Me in Deed...

Dear Friends, We want to do more.  Our desire is to have a strong impact in kingdom building.  "Oh that You would bless me indeed..." Our deeds, our actions should always be in keeping with the will of God.  How can we know His way?  The Lord is The Way. How can we expand or extend our reach? Our reach is extending as we obey His Word. Psalm 127:1 is instructive: Except   the   Lord   build   the  house,  the y labour in vain that  build  it:  except   the   Lord  keep  the  city,  the watchman waketh but in vain. When the Lord enlarges our territory, let us remain true to His purpose.  Oh, He will bless us indeed.  Therefore, in deeds, in our work let us magnify Him. in Christ, Sis. Stephanie

A Mighty Good Day

Psalm 92:1-2 King James Version (KJV) 92  It is a good thing to give thanks unto the  Lord , and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High: 2  To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, Dear Friends, This is the day that the Lord has made.  Let us rejoice! God has given us the blessing to see the start of another week.   At the close of the day may we be able to rejoice continually. Know that whatever our circumstances or challenges the Lord was, is and shall always be Good. Work strong ! God bless! in Christ, Sis. Stephanie

Hebrews 10:35-36 King James Version (KJV) 35  Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. 36  For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. Judge Not That Ye Be Not Judged...the Writing on the Ground

John 8:1-12 King James Version (KJV) 8  Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. 2  And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. 3  And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 4  They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5  Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6  This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7  So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8  And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9  And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto

Got to Get Rid of Some Things...

Hebrews 12:1-3 King James Version (KJV) 12  Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3  For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Dear Friends, My daughter recently expanded her business to include a de-cluttering service.  We talked about her new venture at length.  Often it is difficult for people to let go of some things in order to make room for others. Every ounce of space in their room, apartment or home is filled with stuff. It can be overwhelming.  Just as our physical space can become cluttered by adding on and neve

Hear the Words of the Lord Your God

Joshua 3:9-10 King James Version (KJV) 9  And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, Come hither, and hear the words of the  Lord  your God. 10  And Joshua said, Hereby ye shall know that the living God is among you, and that he will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Hivites, and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites. Dear Friends, Joshua instructed the children of Israel to gather near and hear the words of the Lord your God.   So often we fail to ask God for direction or affirmation. Joshua let the people know: Hereby ye shall know that  the living God is among you  And that he will Without fail  Drive out from before you the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Hivites, and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites. There is no enemy too great, no army so strong that the Lord Our God will not prevail. Listen! God will not fail!
