Give Unto the Lord Glory and Strength

1 Chronicles 16:26-28King James Version (KJV)

26 For all the gods of the people are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.
27 Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.
28 Give unto the Lord, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.

Dear Friends,

True strength is from God.  God is Strength.The strength of the Lord cannot be shaken.  It does not rest in man nor change based on circumstance.  Strength is an attribute of God. It is an attribute of His character.  God is Strength.  Just meditating on this truth is enough to cause one to pause and ponder and render thanksgiving.  To be able to rest in confidence, to go forward in full assurance knowing that the God we serve is Mighty and Merciful.  He is True and Holy.  He is Wise and Compassionate.  And in All that God is. God is Strength.

God never operates from a place of weakness. He cannot,  for there is no weakness in God.  There is no failure, no flaw.  God is strength.  Righteous!  Hold on!
Time to shout.  The joy of the Lord...My Strength.
