Great Is Our Lord, and of Great Power

Psalm 147:3-5 King James Version (KJV)

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

"Jesus knows all about our struggles.  He will guide till the day is done.  There's not a friend like the lowly Jesus.  No, not one. No, not one."

Our Lord is a healer.  He binds broken wounds.  He counts the stars in the sky. He calls them by their name.  And just as the Lord counts the stars, he knows each one of us.  He knows and understands our strengths and our struggles.  Our going out and coming in, God knows.  As the songwriter penned: "He knows my name."

It is good to know that there is One who understands us.  Creator God is familiar with the intricate details of our being and our lives.  My grandmother used to say: He made us and He knows all about us."

Powerful is Our Lord.  God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God. - Psalm 62:11  Power.  All power belongs to God.  Hold onto to this knowledge when you cannot see your way.  Great is Our Lord and of Great Power.  No man can override the power of God.  While people can ignore God's power, they cannot dismiss it.  Great is Our Lord and of Great Power.

Lord it is unto you that we come with our questions knowing that we can trust You with the solutions.  We acknowledge that You are Great and You have all power.  Thank you for being God Alone.

God bless!

in Christ,

Sis. Stephanie

Help…My Help

Psalms 46:1   “God  is our  refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Help.  God is my Help. Always present…in trouble and in triumph.  Help. God is my Help.  I lift up my eyes knowing my help comes from the Lord.  All my help.  Every need supplied. He is My Support. He is The Solution. My Benefactor. Ever providing. Always nourishing. Constantly replenishing. Help. God is My Help. God bless. In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. Matchless in power and might. He is the Faithful and True. He holds the balance in His Hands. God weighs the intent of the heart. True Hones...

Believing God

Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform  it  until the day of Jesus Christ:” Preparing for the next chapter. Cleaning the clutter inside and out.  Reevaluating priorities.  Seeking a revival.  Believing God.  Slowing down a bit.  Focusing on spiritual wellness.  Taking care of my business.  Exercising faith.  Believing God. Stopping to view the sunrise.  Appreciating the sunset.  Planting flowers.  Picking some… Believing God.  Being thankful.  Being kind.  Being… Just being. Believing God.  God bless. In Christ, Sis.
