Today If You Will Hear His Voice - Hebrews 3:15

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. - Hebrews 3:14-15


Father God.

Today we pray for tender hearts

Hearts of empathy and compassion

Let us pray for those we meet today

Let us be mindful of those we pass in our cars

If there be rage in us please replace it with renewed peace

Let us purpose in our hearts to consider others and their needs

Please let us be merciful in our interactions with others, even as you have been merciful to us

We ask that you would help us to be patient with ourselves and to extend

That patience to our family, friends and neighbors

Lord, please don't let us harden our hearts

Soften our speech. Please sprinkle our conversations with love.  Let us be gracious in delivering advice.

Today Lord teach us, lead us, direct us in Your will and in Your Way.

in Jesus name we pray.  Amen.

I’ll Go With You

  Isaiah 41:10   “Fear thou not; for I  am  with thee: be not dismayed; for I  am  thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” “Jesus said if you go I’ll go with you.” Butterflies in my stomach  A racing heart  I do not want to attend the meeting  I wish I could cancel the appointment  I don’t want to talk about it Over “it” I don’t think I can do this  BUT GOD He reminds me that of course, I cannot accomplish even the most mundane tasks on my own  He assures me day by day that He is with me  He builds me up He orders my steps  He speaks peace to my soul  He renews my heart  Do not be afraid  You belong to Me I’ve got you I am holding you in My mighty hands  Go!
