Grace and Compassion; Patience and Mercy





  
"The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy." - Psalms 145:8

Dear Friends,

"Lord we thank You for being so gracious.  We thank You for Your compassion.  We thank You for being patient with us and for the mercy You extend toward us day by day.

Lord help us to behave graciously, compassionately and mercifully toward others.  Enable us to accomplish this in the simple things like giving others the benefit of the doubt; not being so quick to criticize; giving and not expecting anything in return; being kind in the face of rudeness; turning the other cheek.

Lord, You are our example.  Help us Lord to be an example to others we meet along the journey. Help us to be living testimonies of grace and compassion; patience and mercy. In Jesus name we pray. Amen,"

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

  Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. Matchless in power and might. He is the Faithful and True. He holds the balance in His Hands. God weighs the intent of the heart. True Hones...
