I'm Happy For You

Dear Friends,

I was sitting in a class recently and someone posed a question, "Why are people so jealous of one another."   I don't know if anyone offered a real response. The question "hung in the air."

The Bible teaches us that every good and perfect gift comes from God. There is no room for envy which breeds strife among the body of Christ. The remedy. Rejoice with them that do rejoice. Congratulate! Celebrate! Encourage!  The words "I'm happy for you" spoken in sincerity can uplift a sister or brother.

"As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith." - Galatians 6:10

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

  Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. Matchless in power and might. He is the Faithful and True. He holds the balance in His Hands. God weighs the intent of the heart. True Hones...
