" And the  Lord  turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the  Lord  gave Job twice as much as he had before."         - Job 42:10 Dear Friends, Sometimes the best thing we can do for our friends when they are going through adversity is to listen.  Job's friends sought to comfort him and in the midst of comforting they began to speculate as to the reason for his suffering.  We have to know when to be silent.  Silence in the appropriate places and times has been know to kindle and save friendships. Yet, even when silence is broken and when words are spoken out of turn a true friend will forgive and see the  love intended. It is true that many things in the world have changed. Yet, the need for love, guidance and discipline still exists.  There is a need for encouragement.  "Good job!"  "You can do it!" Keep up the good work!"  "I care!" "I love you!" "I am praying for you!"  Positive reinforcement is needed.
