My Confidence




"It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man."
     - Psalm 118:8

 Dear Friend,

 I have learned that it is better to trust in the Lord that to put confidence in man or woman.  This includes self confidence.
I have no ability without God.  There is no strength without God.  Without God there is no hope.  Without God there is no possibility of dreams coming true.  Without God there is no dream.  

 The Lord is My Confidence.  He is my Confidant, yes that is true.  I can trust him with my secrets, my fears and my prayers.  Moreover, as my Confidence, claiming Him as such is to  acknowledge that I am not just leaning on any old arms I am confident that the One in Whom I confide and lean on will deliver.  He will provide.  

 He, the Lord is my Confidence.

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER
