1 Peter 1:24-25(KJV)
24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
Dear Friends,
The songwriter penned: "What wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus."
In the flesh there is corruption. The body decays. Body functions and levels of strength decrease with time and age. The glory of youth passes. An appointment with death is one that cannot be escaped.
Some may ask, what's the point? Where's the hope? In the business world the question might be what can be done to ensure sustainability?
The answer is The One,The Only , Jesus Christ.
He is the Living Word of God and in Him rests our spiritual sustainability.
Hear the Word of the Lord:
20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house.
21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.
23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
