All the killing and the trauma
All the sickness and the pain
Every secret act of  hatred
Things we cannot explain 

A sickness so widespread and illusive
A killer creeping in unaware
Global in its proportion
Impacting people everywhere

Wailing in the streets
Hearts ripped apart
Mothers losing sons and daughters
People gone missing but we have not forgot

Who knew that all that was so familiar
Would one day seems like a distant dream
Who knew that our faith would be tested 
And we would learn what true hope means

God knew

Nothing that has happened or is taking place
Has taken Him by surprise

God knows the intense beating of worried hearts
He sees our tear stained eyes

God knew we would need hearts encouraged
He knew we would need strength renewed
He knew that there would be those who
would seek His face  knowing He hears and answers prayer

Who knew? God knew!

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

  Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus.
