There Is a Reason

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

       - Ecclesiastes 3:1 

There is a purpose a reason for everything that happens in life. My father taught us that there is no such thing as coincidence. His mother, my grandmother loved poems. There was one favorite that she sent to me in a letter that I still have.  I am sharing it today in hopes that it will encourage you as it has encouraged me throughout the years. 

There's A Reason

For every pain that we must bear,
For every burden, every care -
There's a reason

For every grief that bows the knee,
For every tear-drop that is shed -
There's a reason

For every hurt, for every plight,
For every lonely, pain-racked night -
There's a reason

But if we trust God as we should,
All this must work out for our good.
He knows the reason.
