All to the Glory of God

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

          - 1 Corinthians 3:6-7

In the beginning God took His time speaking the world into existence.  "Let there be..." was the pronouncement and so it was.

From the earliest of time the Lord has entrusted us with so much.  The natural process of planting and sowing, the spiritual truth of reaping what you sow.

Through the gifts God has imparted to each of us is through the Holy Spirit, He has sown into us that we might share with others. Through this sharing we plant, others may water or nourish. But God, always it is God Who gives the increase.

As Paul expounds in 1 Corinthians 3, the one who plants is nothing or the one who waters. In.short, it is not about us, never about us, it is all to the glory and for the glory of God.

God bless!

In Christ,

Sis. Stephanie

2 Peter 1:5   “And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;” One of my hobbies is making yarn wreaths.  The wreath frame symbolizing an unbroken circle and an eternal hope. Help…My Help

Psalms 46:1   “God  is our  refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Help.  God is my Help. Always present…in trouble and in triumph.  Help. God is my Help.  I lift up my eyes knowing my help comes from the Lord.  All my help.  Every need supplied. He is My Support. He is The Solution. My Benefactor. Ever providing. Always nourishing. Constantly replenishing. Help. God is My Help. God bless. In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. Matchless in power and might. He is the Faithful and True. He holds the balance in His Hands. God weighs the intent of the heart. True Hones...
