Just Fine the Way It Is

Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers giveth you. Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

           - Deuteronomy 4:1-2 

We can’t negotiate with God. He is the top, middle, and bottom line.  He does not use an eraser or need the back space key. For He makes no mistakes. No rewrites. No proofreading. No editor. He is God alone.

His Word is unchanging.  The same Word  applies to every person in the entire world. One Lord over all. The Word is unlimited in its power. Precise in its ability to cut to the chase. God said don’t add to His Word and don’t diminish it.  Do not mess with the Word of God. It’s just fine the way it is.

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

  Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords.
