Teach Us O God

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. - Psalm 90:12

January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August and now it is September. It seems as though the start of 2020 is a distant memory.  It is almost a blur.  So much has happened since January 1.  Unlike other years in my lifetime, there is something that has glaringly united the world. this year. United in a way that could not have been anticipated.  The pandemic presented itself and continues still.

I cannot help but think about the other things that connected us world wide that were not often talked about.  For example, In the beginning God.  In the beginning God created.  All that we know, our very being and that of all of the world, from the beginning it was God.  I think about this.  I marvel at this fact.  And it is to God I pray to teach me, to teach us to number our days. Teach us how to apply our hearts unto wisdom.  Instruct us in our daily walk.  Remind us of what is important.  Help us to disregard what should not claim our attention.

Teach us O God.  We are willing pupils.  We are in Your classroom. We wait for You.

God Bless!

In Christ,

Sis. Stephanie

Adds Up…

2 Peter 1:5   “And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;” One of my hobbies is making yarn wreaths.  The wreath frame symbolizing an unbroken circle and an eternal hope. Help…My Help

Psalms 46:1   “God  is our  refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Help.  God is my Help. Always present…in trouble and in triumph.  Help. God is my Help.  I lift up my eyes knowing my help comes from the Lord.  All my help.  Every need supplied. He is My Support. He is The Solution. My Benefactor. Ever providing. Always nourishing. Constantly replenishing. Help. God is My Help. God bless. In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. Matchless in power and might. He is the Faithful and True. He holds the balance in His Hands. God weighs the intent of the heart. True Hones...
