Psalm 24:7-8 King James Version
7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
Hold your head up. Keep looking up. There is a saying: "If you look up, blessings will come down." This is true. The enemy would like for us to hang our heads. He relishes when we are despondent and despairing. Our Heavenly Father is the Lifter of our heads. It doesn't matter if our eyes are full of tears, our lips quiver or our head shakes. God sees, and He will lift us up.
We have a clearer few when we look up. As we focus our attention on God, the distractions, while present, will not overtake us. When we hold our heads up, the Holy Spirit reminds us that our steps are being guided. Our perspective is clearer when our head is lifted up.
Battles rage. Yet, Our Glorious God is mighty in battle. He has never lost a battle. He never will. Hold your head up. Lift up your heads. Fasten your eyes on the King of Glory. He is already here. Can't you feel His Presence? God is already here. Hold your head up.
God bless!
in Christ,
Sis. Stephanie
