The hearing ear, and the seeing eye; the LORD hath made even both of them. Proverbs 20:12
Facial expressions often give us clues as to what people are thinking or feeling. Pandemic years with mask wearing have made it difficult if not impossible to pick up on such clues. The eyes, expressive eyes, eyes that are distant, inquiring or afraid peek out from masked faces.
I believe that the smiling eyes exert great influence. Smiling underneath the mask as you nod your head at a neighbor in the grocery store is impactful. "I see you and I am glad." Smiling eyes responding to sad eyes can offer encouragement. The eyes have the power to convey a myriad of emotions. The eyes have it.
The hearing ear, and the seeing eye; the LORD hath made even both of them. Proverbs 20:12
The eyes have it.
God bless!
