A CUP OF KINDNESS

Colossians 3:12 “Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;” “A Cup of Kindness”  by sdktyus@2023 Offer a cup of kindness  Lend a compassionate ear. Say a word to encourage  Help to dispel a fear Look within and without  Seek new ways to be kind Texts are nice but so is a call, or handwritten note sometimes  Stop today and consider The weight your words may have Sprinkle your speech with a little joy Make someone’s heart glad A cup of kindness… Extend your reach Show sincere care  Strengthen your resolve Choose to share A cup of kindness every where.  God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. JUST LOVE

1 John 4:21 “And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.” To love is to take action. To love is to give. It is to forgive, Love lifts. Love empowers. Love is liberating. Love works in tandem with hope and faith. Three virtues. Love is the greatest of the three. Love is patient. It is kind. Love considers the needs of others, The world needs it. Not enough being show. Love bears and believes. Love, real love, is living and breathing. It is life giving and life sustaining. God. God is love. God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

DEVELOPING PATIENCE

James 1:3 “Knowing  this , that the trying of your faith worketh patience.” I am trying to do the right thing. Stuff keeps happening. Really want to stay out of the “messy.” People want to “act out.” Folks are trying me. Why? Why me? Why today? “Knowing this… The trying of your faith worketh patience.” My prayer today: Lord teach me how to be patient with myself. Help me to be patient with others. When feelings are hurt… When anger brews… When misunderstandings occur… Remind me,  when my faith is being tried,  patience is being developed. Patience. Developing patience. God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

THE EYES HAVE IT

Psalms 34:4 “I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” I sought the Lord. I looked for Him. I prayed to Him. I am still seeking. Every day I am looking. Praying as I go. The eyes have it. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  My help cometh from the Lord,  Which made heaven and earth. - Psalms 121:1-2 The eyes have it. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. - Matthew 6:22 The eyes have it. The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the Lord hath made both of them. - Proverbs 20:12 The eyes have it. Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of the law. - Psalms 119:18 The eyes have it. Open the eyes of my heart Lord, I want to see You.   High and lifted up, I want to see You. The eyes have it. God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

EVERY DROP THAT FALLS

Psalms 56:8 “Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle:  are they  not in thy book?” Every tear drop that falls is noted. Not one drop escapes God’s attention. Recorded tears. None wasted. All of our tears are not sad. There are happy tears. Tears touch the soul. They water our hearts. They may reflect our anger. They may help illustrate our pain. They may appear singularly or flood our face. Tears have purpose. Archived. Recorded. Every drop that falls. “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain…” God knows God cares God sees Every drop that falls. God bless✨  in Christ, Sis. Stephanie

LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY

John 10:10 “ The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have  it  more abundantly. ” The abundant life.  It is not a life free of misery. There is sorrow in abundance that makes joy much more appreciated. The abundant life.  Tears that fall from our eyes are cooled as we release each care into the Savior’s hands, The abundant life.   Christ has given. Life more abundantly. Abundant.  Spirit and Truth. Abundant.  Increased faith. Abundant.  Blessings upon blessings. Abundant.  Safe and secure. Abundant.  Full of mercy and grace. The abundant life. Christ has given. Life more abundantly. God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

NEXT!

1 Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” Standing in long lines can try your patience.  Tired of waiting and in frustration we get out of line. As soon as we move, the line starts progressing, or a cashier opens another line and proclaims  “NEXT!” If we had just stayed in place  “NEXT”  would have been us. “Don’t make a move too soon.” There are other instances in life where we are tempted to step out of “line,” because we are tired of waiting. Deliverance is taking too long! Where is the healing?  The job? The solution? Is there a Word from the Lord? Yes! Do not move. Be steadfast. Don’t waver. Unmovable. Do not allow the enemy to push you around. Stay grounded in the Word. Always abounding in the work of the Lord. It is always right to do right. Know this. Believe deep in your heart. It’s worth it. Even on those days when it seems like
