PLANTED TO PROSPER

 

Psalms 1:3

“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” 


Trees. 

 Tall.

Strong. 

Bold. 

Beautiful.

Splendid.


Trees line our streets. 

They are on display in our parks.

Trees provide landscape borders on highways.


Thinking also about the trees planted by rivers of water.

Nourished.

Constantly refreshed.

Roots deep and spread wide.

Planted to prosper.


The wise person is one who is

planted in Christ,

consistent in prayer,

diligent in the study and application of the Word of God.

This is necessary, to be nourished,

imperative, if we would be refreshed. 

Thus, creating roots that are deep and spread wide.


 Like the tree by rivers of water.

Planted.

Watered.

Deep.

Wide and far reaching.


Immovable.


Planted to prosper.

I’ll Go With You

  Isaiah 41:10   “Fear thou not; for I  am  with thee: be not dismayed; for I  am  thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” “Jesus said if you go I’ll go with you.” Butterflies in my stomach  A racing heart  I do not want to attend the meeting  I wish I could cancel the appointment  I don’t want to talk about it Over “it” I don’t think I can do this  BUT GOD He reminds me that of course, I cannot accomplish even the most mundane tasks on my own  He assures me day by day that He is with me  He builds me up He orders my steps  He speaks peace to my soul  He renews my heart  Do not be afraid  You belong to Me I’ve got you I am holding you in My mighty hands  Go!
