TAKE A MOMENT

Luke 17:15 “And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,” Take a Moment  by sdktyus @2023 Take a moment to thank Him. Take a moment to pray. Pause and consider the many times that the Lord has made a way. Take a moment to adore God. Take a moment to reflect on His Son. Think about salvation. The blood of Jesus got it done. Take a moment to say hello. Take a breath and smile. Give a hug to a loved one someone you haven’t seen in quite a while. Take a moment to forgive yourself and others for any mistakes made. Take a moment to reflect on how much the Lord forgave. Take a moment. Please take a moment. Seek in all things to do right. You will be so grateful you took a moment. For just a moment can change your life.  God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

SO MUCH THAT HE GAVE…

Mark 12:30-31 “ And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this  is  the first commandment. ” “ And the second  is  like,  namely this  , Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. ” I attended a workshop recently that addressed the mental health of youth. Some years ago I attended a workshop addressing the mental health of adults.   Both workshops were very informative and impactful. One point has that stayed with me, was the need for self-care. Caregivers often neglect their own wellbeing in their endeavor to support others. This neglect of oneself may be physical mental, emotional, and even spiritual. Thinking about these things, the Holy Spirit brought Mark 12:31 to mind “…Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself…” The second greatest commandment. Brothers and sisters: We must love ourselves… Take care of ourselves… Encourage ourselves… Show up

HOT & COLD

Daniel 2:21 “And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:” Still thinking about the seasons.  Perhaps it is because we got our first significant snow fall today. Howling winds. Snow fall creating blankets for the trees, grass and the ground. Not so long ago we had sweltering heat. Sitting on the porch swing trying to catch a breeze. Staying in the house for air conditioning or a nice fan. Hot and cold. Some prefer summer. Others love the cold and snow. I used to favor one over the other. But now I am simply thankful to live another day. Content in whatever “state” I find myself in. Hot or cold. No matter… This is the day the Lord has made. And I am rejoicing. IN BLOOM

Matthew 6:28   “And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:” The saying goes: “Bloom where you are planted.” Flowers do not have to be reminded to do this. Lilies bloom in their spot.  They don’t try to take the tulips place. Likewise the tulips are not vying for attention with the daisies. Each has its space.  Each its  own time to shine.  Its own time to bloom. Likewise each of us has a space, a spot. There is a time for everything. Planted in Christ. Watered by the Word. Fertilized by grace. Sprout out.  Time to flourish.  Use your gifts.  Stir them up. Put the oil in your lamp.  Turn on the light and BLOOM. Bloom where you are planted. God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. GOD DID IT

Psalms 126:3 “The LORD hath done great things for us;  whereof  we are glad.” He woke me up this morning.  Great things. Health Strength. Presence of mind. Great things. Awesome.  God is Awesome.  Faithful. God is Faithful. Holy. God is Holy God is Great.  Great God  Great things. Every victory God did it. Every blessing God did it. Way out of no way  God did it Countless mercy  Great Grace God did it.  He has done great things for us We are glad God did it Great things He has done and continues to do  Great things.  God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. FROM DAY TO DAY

Ephesians 2:13 “But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.” The blood of Jesus Christ.  The precious blood. The once and for all sacrifice. Without the blood, there would be no redemption of sin. “What can wash away my sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.” Thinking about the great sacrifice. Incomparable is the shed blood of Christ. Matchless. He in His perfection,  paid it all for our imperfections. So great is His love towards us.  All to Him we owe. Jesus.  The shed blood of Jesus. He laid down His life so that we might live. Thank you Lord for the gift of salvation. The songwriter penned: “The blood that gives me strength from day to day, it will never lose its power.” From day to day. It is the blood that makes the difference. Praise God. “One day when I was lost, He died upon the cross. I know it was the blood for you and me.” God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

LED BY GOD

Exodus 13:21 “And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:” God’s guidance. What comfort and peace to have God ordering our steps. The leading of God sometimes causes us to travel over rough terrain.  Rocky places.  High mountains.   Low valleys.  There are also the smooth paths filled with beautiful scenery. Through it all He will provide joy for the journey. There are bursts of joy. Sometimes there are seasons of joy. After nights of weeping, the morning joy appears. Without fail God leads His children along. God bless✨ In Christ, Sis. THANKFULLY

Philippians 1:3   “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,” Wherever you are today, I thank God for you. Family, friends and all. I thank God. I praise God for allowing our lives to intersect in some way. May this day and every day be filled with gratitude. I pray that grace and peace abound.  Let mercy and grace be multiplied. Thankfully, the Lord God has brought us, from a mighty long way. God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. Stephanie
