I offer though there is something about referring to the Lord as Christ Jesus.
Christ meaning the anointed or chosen one.
The Christ the Son of the Living God.
There were others named Jesus during the time He was on earth.
However, there is and forever shall be only One
Christ Jesus.
Jesus Christ.
We who are called Christians ought live out "last name first."
Christian.
Christ like.
Child of God.
If people don't know our given name, they should recognize us by the light in our lives.
Last name first.
A good name.
No better name than
Christ Jesus.
Jesus the Christ.

Matthew 16:13-17
13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
