IN BLOOM

 

Matthew 6:28

 

“And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:”

The saying goes: “Bloom where you are planted.”

Flowers do not have to be reminded to do this.

Lilies bloom in their spot. 

They don’t try to take the tulips place.

Likewise the tulips are not vying for attention with the daisies.

Each has its space.

 Each its own time to shine. 

Its own time to bloom.

Likewise each of us has a space, a spot.

There is a time for everything.

Planted in Christ. Watered by the Word. Fertilized by grace.

Sprout out. 

Time to flourish. 

Use your gifts. 

Stir them up.

Put the oil in your lamp.

 Turn on the light and BLOOM.

Bloom where you are planted.

Just a minute. Things happen. Situations change. Here one minute and gone the next.  So the saying goes. Moments. They mater. While we have time… Take a second. Press pause. Stop.  Consider. I’ll Go With You

  Isaiah 41:10   “Fear thou not; for I  am  with thee: be not dismayed; for I  am  thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” “Jesus said if you go I’ll go with you.” Butterflies in my stomach  A racing heart  I do not want to attend the meeting  I wish I could cancel the appointment  I don’t want to talk about it Over “it” I don’t think I can do this  BUT GOD He reminds me that of course, I cannot accomplish even the most mundane tasks on my own  He assures me day by day that He is with me  He builds me up He orders my steps  He speaks peace to my soul  He renews my heart  Do not be afraid  You belong to Me I’ve got you I am holding you in My mighty hands  Go!
