Psalm 119:53-55King James Version (KJV)
53 Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
54 Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
55 I have remembered thy name, O Lord, in the night, and have kept thy law.
Dear Friends,
We must remain diligent in recalling the mercies of God.
There are some days when my eyes overflow with tears hearing of the many atrocities taking place throughout the world. Innocent people lose their lives. There are random shootings. Robberies abound. Hate crimes and bullying seem to be on the rise. All of this is horrible.
Yet, in the midst of the horror when we lift up the Word of God we see hope and we can be certain of deliverance.
Deliverance does not always come in the way in which we desire it. Rescue is not always evident to the natural eye. But make no mistake, God rules the natural and supernatural. He controls what can be seen in the natural realm and all that occurs in the spiritual realm. He is God.
Lamentations 3:20-23King James Version (KJV)
20 My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.
21 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
22 It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Remain diligent in recalling the mercies of God. No matter how dark the day, morning is coming and with it the new mercies of God.
in Christ,
Sis. Stephanie
