Isaiah 30:17-19King James Version (KJV)
17 One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill.
18 And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.
Dear Friends,
CeCe Winans anointed voice rings out with words that illustrate in part the magnitude of the mercy of God. When the enemy would try to cast a shadow on our hope or would try to make a believer doubt their place and security in Christ "mercy says no. I will not let you go!" God has shown great mercy in Jesus Christ. In the acceptance of Jesus Christ there is forgiveness. His blood covers our sins. Thank God for mercy.
in Christ,
Sis. Stephanie
