Habakkuk 2:1-3King James Version (KJV)
2 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Dear Friends,
The Prophet Habakkuk had been faithfully on his post keeping watch over God's people and pleading to God on their behalf. They were being oppressed and were suffering by the hand of the Chaldean's. Habakkuk waits patiently for an answer from God. Once he receives a word from the Lord, he is instructed to write it out plainly so others can read it.
In this present age there are still "watchmen" on the wall. There are preachers, teachers, evangelists. There are prayer warriors and intercessors crying out faithfully in prayer.God who never changes is still answering. There must be a faithful reporting of God's response. His response is always aligned with His Word. If words are being delivered that do not line up with the Word of God, with the scriptures then beware.
God is calling us to be faithful
God is calling us to be prayerful
God is calling us to be holy
God is calling us to be merciful
God is calling us to be compassionate
God is calling.
Do you hear what I hear?
We have work to do.
Matthew 9:36-38King James Version (KJV)
36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
God bless you.
in Christ,
Sis. Stephanie
