Philippians 1:20-21King James Version (KJV)
20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.
21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Dear Friends,
Sometimes as Christians we struggle while we wait.
We find ourselves on the verge of expectation. The dictionary defines verge as follows: (noun) an edge or border (verb) to approach something closely.
We want want to believe... we are on the verge of trusting.
Oh, but when we step out on faith, miracles happen. Faith activates our spiritual verge. Our verge is our hope.
We believe God. We know Jesus Christ is Lord. We rest in the knowledge and presence of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we can rest in the verge.
We believe God. We know Jesus Christ is Lord. We rest in the knowledge and presence of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we can rest in the verge.
I listened to a song this morning by David Evans "Lord Let It Be Me." Evans sings that someone is on the verge of a breakthrough, a miracle, a healing. My soul is rejoicing for I believe as the song states "if you step out on your faith you are on the verge..." of your expectation.
Expect deliverance. Expect healing. Expect guidance. Expect joy, Expect freedom.
Saints by faith I am on the verge of a blessing, a movement into a new chapter in life. By faith I am walking...I am expecting, believing that God will order my steps! Hallelujah!
in Christ,
Sis. Stephanie
