Romans 5:15-16King James Version (KJV)
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
Dear Friends,
Through one man sin came into the world. Sin clouded vision. It cast a shadow. It dispersed sickness, deceit and all manner of evil.
But God in His excellent greatness accomplished through another man, One Man, Jesus Christ, the perfection to eradicate the stain of sin. Wrapped in grace Jesus Christ came swaddled as a baby to offer to all who would accept the gift of grace, salvation.
Ephesians 2:4-10King James Version (KJV)
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Wrapped in grace. We have received much more by the gift of God. The Word tells us that where sin abounded grace did much more abound.
Romans 5:19-21King James Version (KJV)
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Today let us remember our clothing of grace. Let us pull the "wrap" of our precious gift tightly around us. Meditate on the magnitude of the love God bestows in extending grace through Jesus Christ.
Grace
- amazing
Grace
- sufficient
Grace
- abounding
God's grace. Wrapped in grace...much more by the gift of God.
in Christ,
Sis. Stephanie
