We've Got to Tell It...The Praises of the Lord



Psalm 145:4,21King James Version (KJV)

4 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

 21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

 Dear Friends,

 We've got to tell it.  One generation to another must declare the goodness of the Lord.  The sharing might have to be via text, social media, in person or by phone. But, we've got to tell it.  

 Our testimonies, our personal accounts of the mighty acts in our lives are multi-purposed.  Certainly they are for our own edification and growth.  However, God's goodness is to be shared.

1 Thessalonians 5:11King James Version (KJV)

11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Psalm 90:9b 

"...we spend our years as a tale that is told."  

Psalm 150:1-2King James Version (KJV)

150 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Tell...sing...shout about the works of the Lord.
For this is true:

Lamentations 5:19King James Version (KJV)

19 Thou, O Lord, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation.
We've got to tell it...the praises of the Lord.

I’ll Go With You

  Isaiah 41:10   “Fear thou not; for I  am  with thee: be not dismayed; for I  am  thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” “Jesus said if you go I’ll go with you.” Butterflies in my stomach  A racing heart  I do not want to attend the meeting  I wish I could cancel the appointment  I don’t want to talk about it Over “it” I don’t think I can do this  BUT GOD He reminds me that of course, I cannot accomplish even the most mundane tasks on my own  He assures me day by day that He is with me  He builds me up He orders my steps  He speaks peace to my soul  He renews my heart  Do not be afraid  You belong to Me I’ve got you I am holding you in My mighty hands  Go!
