Ask and Ye Shall Receive...

John 16:24King James Version (KJV)

24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Dear Friends,

May the poem below offer you encouragement in your walk with the Lord.  The author is unknown to me.

God bless.

Asking And Receiving

Prayer is asking God
and the answer is receiving
When we ask the Lord
expecting and believing
God can do any miracle
beyond our wildest dreams
even when the odds are against us,
or so it seems

Many things we could have if we asked
so our joy would be full
When we ask the Lord and receive,
rich blessings will flood our soul
Anything big or small God will give us
when we pray in Jesus name and seek
He's always there to hear our prayers
and help the burdened and weak

God can move any mountain
with his great power and might
and when things look bleak to us
he can make them turn out right
Nothing is too hard for God,
he can do anything anytime
When we are poor and needy,
is the time our faith will climb

Adds Up…

2 Peter 1:5   “And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;” One of my hobbies is making yarn wreaths.  The wreath frame symbolizing an unbroken circle and an eternal hope. As I tie each double strand of yarn I consider the blessings  of the “tysthatbind”  Adds up… Love+ Faith+ Hope+ Mercy+ Grace+ Peace= Diligently,  Continually  Seeking  to  Add to my faith virtue,  And to virtue knowledge Adds up… God bless.♥️  In Christ, Sis. Help…My Help

Psalms 46:1   “God  is our  refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Help.  God is my Help. Always present…in trouble and in triumph.  Help. God is my Help.  I lift up my eyes knowing my help comes from the Lord.  All my help.  Every need supplied. He is My Support. He is The Solution. My Benefactor. Ever providing. Always nourishing. Constantly replenishing. Help. God is My Help. God bless. In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. Matchless in power and might. He is the Faithful and True. He holds the balance in His Hands. God weighs the intent of the heart. True Hones...
